General
What is LinkGenie?
LinkGenie is a link-in-bio and digital business card builder. One short link opens a branded page with all your links, content and contact info, plus a URL shortener, QR codes and analytics.
Is it really free?
Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and includes a bio page with core blocks. Upgrade any time for more blocks, QR codes, pixels and longer analytics history.
Do I need a website?
No. Your LinkGenie page can be your mini-site. If you already have a website, LinkGenie points people to it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Custom domains are included with PRO+.
Is there an app?
LinkGenie is a Progressive Web App: open linkgenie.net on your phone and tap "Add to Home Screen". It works like an app, with nothing to download from an app store.
What analytics do I get?
Visitors by country and city, referrer, UTM, device, operating system, browser and language. Basic keeps 30 days, PRO 90 days and PRO+ 120 days.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account and keep your paid features until the end of your billing period.
Plans & billing
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. The Basic plan is free forever and you can sign up without a credit card.
What support do I get on the free plan?
Free (Basic) accounts include our Help Center and FAQs, which answer most questions any time of day. Direct email support from our team is available on PRO and PRO+, so if you'd like a personal hand, upgrading gets you there.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade whenever you need more features, or switch to a different plan from your account at any time.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Paying yearly costs less than paying month to month. Use the Monthly/Yearly toggle on the pricing page to see the yearly price and how much you save.
What happens when I cancel?
You can cancel any time from your account. Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then your page moves to the free Basic plan.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but we don't refund partial billing periods, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, contact us at info@linkgenie.com and we'll take a look.
How are payments handled?
Payments are processed securely by our payment partners at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
Using LinkGenie
Are there rules for usernames?
Usernames are subject to approval and must be at least 6 characters long. Usernames can't include the word "Genie".
How do I edit my profile description or photo?
Open the menu under your handle and choose Edit My Profile. Your profile description sits under your bio image (emojis welcome), and you can tap the image to change it. Use a square image at least 1000×1000px and under 2MB, then click Submit to save.
How do I change my background?
PRO members can upload a custom background under Edit My Profile → Custom Background. Keep images under 2MB (JPG works best; a free tool like Squoosh can compress them), add your links first, then check your public page on a phone, where most of your visitors will see it.
How do I add a YouTube video or SoundCloud track?
Copy the share link from YouTube or SoundCloud, then paste it into Add new link on your links screen. LinkGenie embeds it for you.
How do I get the blue verified check?
Verified badges are available to PRO members with a valid payment method on file. Upgrade, complete your profile and request verification.
Affiliate program
Who can earn as a LinkGenie affiliate?
To earn, you need an active, verified PRO or PRO+ account. All affiliates are subject to approval.
